Not that sort of “woo.” In guests, @melissaglick_ own words, a whole new “WOO.”

Our host, @ravenroneal, proudly identifies as a serial entrepreneur. In our latest episode, guest host @coachbperlowin, turns the mic around to interview Raven about her many business ideas and ventures, starting with her very first serious concept, Butter Your Biscuit.

Raven’s first official company was a marketing agency, but long before that, she dreamed of owning a bakery called Butter Your Biscuit, where customers could mix and match cupcake bases with different types and flavors of frosting.

Years later, she set her sights on launching a female-owned and -operated oil change franchise called Lady Lube. She took Lady Lube through a business accelerator, pitched and won startup competitions, and even presented to investors. Her work with both the marketing agency and Lady Lube became the foundation for her deep dive into business and the startup world.

Are your leads buyers or liars? Or is it that buyers are liars? Either way, it hits.

In last week’s episode, sales & sexy systems strategist, @melissaglick_, spilled the tea about how she approaches every client conversation.

Most founders think they know their problem. But here’s the reality: They’re not lying to you, they’re lying to themselves.

It’s not intentional. They’re telling themselves a story they believe is true, but it’s often just the surface level.

Your job in sales (and in life) isn’t to accept their first answer.

Your job is to ask the clarifying questions that get to the ROOT of what’s really going on:
→ Is it a revenue problem?
→ Or is there a deeper bottleneck?
→ Could this be a mindset issue they haven’t recognized?

This is where her ACED framework becomes powerful!

The magic happens when you take someone on a journey from pain to pleasure, from problem to transformation.

And here’s the best part: This isn’t just for sales calls. Use this in consulting, coaching, or any conversation where someone needs clarity about their situation.

Stop accepting surface-level problems. Start digging deeper.
Your clients will thank you for it.
